Lloyd R. Williams, Jr. was born on April 1, 1953 to the union of Delores and Lloyd Williams, Sr. He was the first born of 12 siblings. He was educated in the San Francisco Unified School District.

At an early age Lloyd accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Lloyd went into the US Army at the age of 18. After receiving an Honorable Discharge he returned to San Francisco, California where he then became a member of Christian Light Baptist Church where his grandfather, the late Rev. Joseph Rand, pastored for 35 years.

In 2006 he married Vanessa Benjamin and became a member and ordained Minister at Double Rock Baptist Church.

Lloyd was a good husband, a great father, and an all-around family man. Throughout his adult life he had various jobs and in his later years became a Community Activist. He always wanted to figure out a way to clean up the streets and help people which included feeding the homeless and Christmas toy drives. He had a charismatic personality and could win anyone over with his humor. Most of all he loved his family dearly.

On September 19, 2014, Lloyd went home to meet with his mother and father, Delores and Lloyd Williams, and two brothers - Joseph and Eric Williams. He leaves to mourn: his wife - Vanessa Williams; sons -Wendell and Alfonzo Williams; daughters - Nicole and Lydia Williams; stepdaughter- Kelly Benjamin and stepson - Demauria Benjamin; granddaughters- Daijah, Kalea, Aaliha, Dinajha and Dija-nee; grandsons - Wendell, Amari, Vontre, Antone, Antonio and Priest; sisters - Deborah, Glenda, Shirley and Elizabeth; brothers - Donald, Lorenzo, Harold, Kenneth and Robert Williams; and a host of other family and friends.
